Retired Four-Star Admiral James Foggo to Confront the Threats From Russia, China and Iran – and What They Mean for America’s Navy and Global Trade

James G. “Jamie” Foggo is a retired four-star Admiral and current Dean of the Center for Maritime Strategy at the Navy League of the United States. A strong advocate for the Navy’s role in diplomacy, he fostered close partnerships with U.S. ambassadors across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, convening regional conferences to address security challenges in the Balkans, Mediterranean, and Black Sea. Drawing on his extensive operational experience and engagements with senior international leaders, Admiral Foggo will share his perspectives on today’s evolving global security environment, including great power competition and key military challenges across multiple regions – and why this is also a Memphis story.
