Naval Air Orientation Day will be held on Thursday, October 26th from 10 AM to 4:30 PM at Wilson Air Center near Memphis International Airport. Students and interested citizens are invited to visit during this time to view a variety of modern Naval aircraft and vintage warbirds. Questions about their responsibilities and experiences flying these magnificent aircraft, as well as how to get involved in Naval Aviation, can be directed to the pilots and crew members. Please take advantage of this exceptional opportunity for students to understand STEM concepts in action as these aircraft are rarely available in Memphis for viewing at such close range!
A Coast Guard Fast Response Boat is also scheduled to be on site along with Coast Guard Emergency Management Specialists. Representatives from America’s Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard will be available to answer questions about how they accomplish today’s missions and protect our great country.
If your school is interested in attending, please contact the School Coordinator below to reserve a time or your students/school. This event is free & open to the public.
